Quarry Operator

About the role

Fletcher Building's Winstone Aggregates is looking for skilled, proactive Quarry Operators to work the day shift (6:00am to 5:30pm) at Belmont Quarry, with the occasional Saturday. The role supports daily quarry operations, focusing on production and load-out tasks so products reach customers on time. Previous heavy machine experience in a quarry is an advantage, and training is offered toward leading hand positions.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily quarry operations during the day shift, 6:00am to 5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays.
• Focus on production and load-out tasks to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

Required profile

• NZ Class 2 driver licence with WTR.
• Dump truck, excavator or loader experience is advantageous.
• Mechanically minded and able to lift heavy loads; decent fitness required.
• Right to work in New Zealand.
• Common sense and a healthy, positive attitude.
