Quantity Surveyor - Auckland

About the role

Apollo Projects, a national design and construction company specialising in sports and aquatics, food and beverage and manufacturing projects, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). Working alongside the Project Manager, you will own the financial side of the project and provide cost management and estimating services.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly client financial reporting
• Cost estimation and budgeting
• Tendering and trade procurement
• Cost control and monitoring
• Valuation and payment certification
• Risk management and dispute resolution

Required profile

• At least 5-7 years' experience in a QS role within the commercial construction environment
• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, or relevant industry experience
• Proven experience using Jobpac (non-negotiable)
• Strong teamwork, initiative, innovation, communication and negotiation skills
