Quality Maintenance Program Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Maintenance Program Technician to lead the Coca‑Cola Quality Maintenance Program across McDonald’s restaurants in the Wellington and Christchurch regions. Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager, you will travel to sites, ensure beverage equipment is calibrated, serviced and delivers “The Best Coke”. The role involves independent work, extensive travel and a focus on equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and complete QMP calls to meet customer appointments.
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality assurance on post‑mix and frozen beverage equipment.
• Repair equipment on the first visit using appropriate parts.
• Maintain service vehicle inventory and update restaurant equipment records.
• Accurately record time and attendance using the designated system.
• Communicate proactively with internal and external customers.
• Manage parts receipts and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Utilise SAP for inventory and service documentation.

Required profile

• Early starter, energetic, driven and hardworking.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full, clean driver’s licence covering the Lower North Island.
• Background in electrical and/or appliance repair with a qualification as an Electrical Appliance Serviceperson and a current practising licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 52 overnight stays per year).
