Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

About the role

Dawn Aerospace seeks a proactive Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to manage day‑to‑day purchasing, inventory, and logistics activities for its In‑Space Propulsion and Spaceplane programmes. You will act as the bridge between engineering, production, and supply teams, ensuring timely delivery of parts and accurate stock records as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Raise, track, and manage purchase orders across multiple programmes.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries, follow‑up on orders, and handle freight and customs documentation.
• Support ERP‑based purchasing and inventory transactions.
• Conduct stock counts, verify inventory locations, and maintain accuracy for ISP NZ and SPL sites.
• Manage consumable “supermarket” inventory, replenishment systems, and warehouse activities.
• Assist with material movements, receiving, and goods handling.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement teams to improve processes.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Interest in aerospace, manufacturing, or high‑growth technology sectors.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
