Psychologist – Rehabilitation Specialist

About the role

Habit Health’s Henderson branch is seeking an experienced Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality assessments, treatment recommendations and supporting patient well‑being within a fast‑growing healthcare provider.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide evidence‑based recommendations.
• Prepare clear written and verbal summaries of findings for patients and the care team.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and service resources.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other clinicians in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development activities.

Required profile

• MA / PG Dip / DClin or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board (or equivalent overseas registration).
• Membership of a professional body such as the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists or NZ Psychological Society.
• Approachable, people‑centred attitude and ability to travel as needed.
• For overseas candidates: willingness to engage in the AEWV process and obtain NZ registration.
