Psychologist (ACC Services)

About the role

APM New Zealand is seeking qualified psychologists to join its ACC services team. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and is available in Queenstown and Dunedin. You will work across assessment and treatment pathways, delivering evidence‑based interventions and high‑quality clinical assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based talking therapies such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT and Schema therapy.
• Conduct mental injury and neuropsychological assessments (MICPI, WRMI) and produce ACC‑aligned reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support functional rehabilitation and outcomes‑based treatment.
• Maintain manageable caseloads across a variety of contracts, including Sensitive Claims, Pain Management, Concussion and Training for Independence.

Required profile

• NZPB‑accredited Master’s degree or higher in Psychology.
• Current registration with the NZ Psychologists Board and a valid APC.
• Strong formulation, documentation and multidisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
