About the role
WSP New Zealand is seeking a Property Consultant to join its South Island regional team. You will work on acquisition, disposal and legalisation projects, providing expert advice to clients across a range of property‑related matters.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality outcomes for property acquisition, disposal and legalisation projects.
- Collaborate with the wider WSP Property team to support consultants and share expertise.
- Engage with property owners, government agencies and other stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation with strong attention to detail.
Required profile
- A relevant tertiary qualification in property, law or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in property valuation, property law, or central/local government property.
- Knowledge of the Public Works Act, Local Government Act, Reserves Act and related legislation is advantageous.
- Excellent time‑management, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a regional team.
