Property Consultant

About the role

WSP New Zealand is seeking a Property Consultant to join its South Island regional team. You will work on acquisition, disposal and legalisation projects across a variety of public and private sector clients, delivering high‑quality outcomes while collaborating with the wider WSP Property group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage property acquisition, disposal and legalisation projects for regional clients.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation in line with legislative requirements.
• Provide expert advice on valuation, property law and relevant statutes.
• Collaborate with the regional Property team to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with property owners and professional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in property, law or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in property or legal disciplines.
• Knowledge of the Public Works Act, Local Government Act, Reserves Act is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team.
