Project/Programme Development & Delivery Manager

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for shaping and delivering projects and programmes that strengthen Catholic education across New Zealand. You will work within a small, collaborative team and help drive strategic initiatives that support the organisation’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute education‑focused projects and programmes from concept to completion.
• Manage budgets, timelines and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, clergy and community partners.
• Monitor performance, report outcomes and apply continuous improvement practices.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in project or programme management, preferably within the education sector.
• Strong understanding of Catholic education values and objectives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, part‑time environment.
