Production Planner – Multi‑site (South Island)

About the role

Aliaxis is seeking an experienced Production Planner to support its South Island operations. Based in Ashburton (with an option to work from Christchurch), you will coordinate production planning across several manufacturing sites, ensuring supply performance, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise production planning and scheduling across multiple sites and lines.
• Develop supply plans that align with customer demand, inventory targets, and operational capacity.
• Drive production efficiency by minimising downtime and waste.
• Lead site supply review meetings and contribute to the S&OP process.
• Identify and mitigate supply and demand risks through proactive planning.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives in planning processes and systems.
• Maintain ERP master data, including BOMs, routings, and planning parameters.
• Provide reporting and insights to aid operational decision‑making.
• Coordinate inter‑site stock transfers when required.

Required profile

• Seasoned experience in supply or production planning within manufacturing (plastics, FMCG, or high‑speed processes).
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, sales, and customer service.
• Ability to work independently without direct reports.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., APIC, Oliver Wright).
