Production Operator – Glasswool Production (12‑hr Shifts)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Production Operator to join our glasswool line at our Penrose manufacturing facility. You will work on a 12‑hour rotating shift pattern, ensuring that our insulation products meet ISO9000 quality standards while maintaining accurate production data.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, monitor and operate modern automated handling and packaging machinery for various product specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation and machinery issues promptly.
• Assist the Team Leader with product changes and line adjustments.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the wool‑line area.
• Record production data accurately to support quality and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Production Operator, preferably in plastic injection moulding or steel manufacturing.
• Proven experience setting, adjusting and calibrating curing ovens and production machinery.
• Physically fit, committed to health and safety, and holder of a full driver’s licence.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
