Procurement Lead

About the role

A multi-site organisation based in Auckland or Tauranga is creating a new, permanent Procurement Lead role to build and embed its procurement function. You will partner with leaders across the organisation, lead strategic sourcing, manage risk and support organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing and category management
• Commercial and contract management
• Supplier relationship management
• Procurement governance
• Commercial business partnering
• Financial performance reporting
• Continuous improvement
• Supporting procurement across property and facilities, technology, professional services, operational goods and services, office and business support services, capital projects and strategic initiatives

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or commercial management
• Experience developing frameworks, governance or business improvement
• Experience partnering with senior leaders
• Resides in New Zealand, eligible to work there and has NZ procurement experience
