Procurement Category Lead

About the role

Join T&G at the early stage of building a strategic procurement function that drives commercial impact. As the Procurement Category Lead, you will work directly with the Procurement Manager to shape procurement strategy, lead sourcing initiatives, and become a trusted partner across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own a broad portfolio of procurement categories and develop strategic plans that deliver value beyond cost savings.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing events, complex negotiations, and manage supplier performance and contract lifecycles.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, Logistics and other functions to advise on commercial decisions.
• Help establish frameworks, processes and governance for the future procurement organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, category management or procurement.
• Strong influencing and relationship‑building skills across all business levels.
• Curious, analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and propose innovative solutions.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and establishing new ways of working.
