Process Development Chemist - AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Development Chemist to train and evaluate AI chatbots that answer complex chemistry questions. You will monitor model progress, assess logical accuracy, and help improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AI chatbots with challenging chemistry queries and review their responses.
• Measure and report on the correctness and performance of AI model outputs.
• Identify issues and suggest improvements to enhance model quality.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (native or bilingual level).
• Detail‑oriented with solid knowledge of general, organic, and physical chemistry.
• Current, in‑progress, or completed Master’s/PhD in a chemistry‑related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be based in New Zealand and able to work as an independent contractor.
