Price and Promotion Manager

About the role

This position sits at the heart of Mars Pet Nutrition’s commercial strategy, driving pricing and promotional decisions that influence growth and profitability. You will work closely with senior leaders to translate market insights into actionable pricing plans and trade investment budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and management of trade promotional investment budgets aligned with the overall business growth strategy.
• Support the Local Market Pricing Council by integrating fact‑based recommendations and ensuring alignment with the broader pricing strategy.
• Develop, execute, and monitor the pricing strategy for assigned brands and product portfolios.
• Drive “Mix for Growth” initiatives by optimizing product mix plans using consumer, customer/channel, and financial performance data.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify growth and efficiency opportunities and present simplified recommendations to senior leaders.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified with strong analytical and commercial foundations; FMCG or consumer goods experience preferred.
• Proven expertise in pricing strategy, analysis, and in‑market implementation.
• Solid understanding of financials, P&L, and the ability to spot growth and efficiency levers.
• Strategic thinker who can turn insights into action and influence senior stakeholders.
