Prep Chef – Baker / Pastry

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Prep Chef specializing in baking and pastry to join RJ Hospitality Solutions’ production kitchen in Mount Maunganui. You will work on a friendly team to produce high-quality breads, baked goods and desserts, ensuring safety, consistency and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, batters and pastry components for daily production runs.
• Bake breads, cakes, pastries and other confectionery items according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to food-safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory of baking supplies and report any shortages.
• Collaborate with senior chefs to ensure output meets quality and timing expectations.
