Point of Care Testing Lead

About the role
The Point of Care Testing Lead will oversee the delivery and quality of point‑of‑care diagnostic services at Princess Alexandra Hospital (CM20 1QX). The position sits within Sonic Healthcare UK’s Point of Care Testing department, a division of the internationally recognised Sonic Healthcare group, which provides pathology, radiology and primary‑care services across the globe. Reporting to senior management, the role contributes to the organisation’s purpose of delivering medically‑led diagnostics, innovation and value to the NHS. The role will collaborate with The Doctors Laboratory (TDL) and Health Services Laboratories (HSL) to ensure seamless integration of point‑of‑care testing within the wider laboratory network.

- Permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week
- Salary up to £48,909 per annum, DOE inclusive of regional pay allowance
