Physiotherapist – Sports & Musculoskeletal Practice

About the role

Great Lake Physio in Taupo is seeking a motivated physiotherapist to join a busy musculoskeletal and sports practice. You will assess acute injuries, develop treatment plans, and work with local sports clubs, including provincial rugby union teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess acute injuries and provide evidence‑based treatment.
• Design and implement in‑clinic and community rehabilitation programmes.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals and create detailed patient reports.
• Utilise diary management software for scheduling and documentation.
• Provide physiotherapy cover for local sports tournaments and ACC contracts.

Required profile

• Current NZ physiotherapy registration and active APC.
• Full NZ driver’s licence for community visits.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse clients.
• Two or more years of experience is advantageous, but new graduates are welcome.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diary management software.
