Physics QA Lead - Remote

About the role

This contract position is for a remote Physics Quality Assurance Lead who will ensure the scientific accuracy and consistency of AI‑generated physics training data. You will work with a fast‑growing AI data services company, reviewing content, guiding contributors, and helping improve the quality of models used by leading AI labs.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated physics content and trainer/QA work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on scientific accuracy, calculations, unit consistency, formula use, and conceptual clarity.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Monitor contributor performance and reactivate inconsistent workers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Astrophysics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong command of English for guideline interpretation and feedback.
• 3+ years of experience in physics research, teaching, tutoring, laboratory work, science writing, academic review, or engineering analysis.
• Deep knowledge of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, relativity, and dimensional analysis.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of educators, reviewers, or annotators is strongly preferred.
