People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

Enviro NZ is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to support the full employee lifecycle in a fast‑paced environment. The role will be the first point of contact for HR queries and will ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for People & Culture queries across the business.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employment changes and off‑boarding processes.
• Prepare employment agreements, conduct compliance checks and maintain HR systems.
• Coordinate communication between managers, candidates and employees to ensure clarity and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure HR processes are completed on schedule.

Required profile

• Proactive self‑starter who asks questions and figures things out.
• Highly organised, able to juggle competing priorities.
• Curious, resilient and comfortable interacting with people at all levels.
• Enjoys variety, detail‑oriented and takes pride in delivering accurate work.
• Will receive guidance from an experienced and supportive P&C team.

Required skills

• Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience in HR/P&C coordination.
• Good understanding of New Zealand employment legislation.
• Confidence working across multiple HR systems and keeping accurate records.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships quickly.
