People & Culture Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an early‑career People & Culture Administrator to join our friendly HR team in Auckland. You will support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding, while gaining exposure to HR systems, reporting and people‑focused initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day HR administration, including onboarding, induction, learning, engagement and off‑boarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, employment documentation and HRIS data.
• Assist with purchase orders, HR reporting and analytics.
• Support the People & Culture Lead, payroll, managers and other stakeholders on HR matters.
• Become the primary point of contact for the ELMO HRIS platform and help improve related processes.

Required profile

• A completed tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, administration or a similar role.
• Interest in New Zealand employment law and a genuine passion for supporting people.
• Proactive, curious and able to work independently while collaborating with teams.

Required skills

• Experience or confidence in using HRIS systems, preferably ELMO.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and familiarity with GenAI tools.
