People & Capability Partner

About the role

We are looking for a People & Capability Partner to join Skyline’s global People & Capability team. Based in either Queenstown or Rotorua, you will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, delivering end‑to‑end HR services across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and off‑boarding.
• Advise people leaders on employee relations matters and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
• Build strong relationships with managers at all levels to align people initiatives with business objectives.
• Coordinate and contribute to people‑focused projects that enhance the overall employee experience.
• Support the delivery of capability programmes that drive organisational performance.

Required profile

• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a people‑centric approach.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast‑moving, operational environment.
• Proven generalist HR experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and experience handling employee‑relations issues.
• Operational management experience is preferred.
