About the role

We are looking for a contract Full‑Stack WordPress Developer to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our WordPress ecosystem. This part‑time role (20‑30 hours per week) focuses on both front‑end and back‑end tasks, ensuring live sites remain stable, performant, and aligned with business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day WordPress platform upkeep, including bug fixes, plugin updates, and performance optimisation.
• Develop front‑end and back‑end enhancements, build new pages, and implement UI updates.
• Integrate third‑party tools and APIs to extend CMS functionality.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to support web‑related projects.
• Maintain cross‑device responsiveness, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Use Git and modern deployment workflows to ensure clean version control.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing and maintaining live WordPress sites.
• Pragmatic, delivery‑focused mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable balancing structured project work with ongoing support tasks.
