Part-Time Retail Team Member (Home Improvement)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic part‑time team members to join the busy Mitre 10 MEGA Albany store. You will be the face of the store, helping customers choose the right products for their homes and ensuring smooth store operations during key trading days.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor, offering practical advice on interior design, outdoor living, lighting and home technology.
• Maintain store presentation, stock shelves and ensure the checkout area runs efficiently.
• Follow fixed shift patterns (full‑day Saturday or full‑day Sunday & Monday) and provide reliable coverage.
• Stay active throughout the shift, handling fast‑paced retail environment.

Required profile

• Genuine interest or experience in interior design, outdoor living, lighting, electrical or home technology.
• Confident customer interaction and ability to give practical product advice.
• Reliability, commitment to the specified days and a hands‑on approach.
• Comfort working in a high‑volume, fast‑moving retail setting.
