Part-Time Optometrist - Wellington

About the role

Bailey Nelson is looking for a part-time Optometrist for its busy Willis Street store in Wellington. The role centres on delivering the best possible eye care and customer experience every day, while contributing to the growth of the store's clinic and retail business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver eye care and eyewear solutions to customers and patients
• Perform eye tests, including 20-minute tests, and use the OPTOS equipment provided
• Work alongside the Store Manager to build a strong partnership and jointly identify opportunities to grow the store through the clinic and retail spaces
• Inspire, motivate, train and develop the team
• Manage time and operational requirements without compromising the customer experience

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy clinic
• Comfortable with 20-minute testing
• A genuine passion for creating great customer experiences and solving eyecare and eyewear needs
• Enjoys a fast-paced, growing business and adapts positively to change
• Commitment to leading by example and driving results
