Bailey Nelson is recruiting an Optometrist for its new store in Nelson, which opens in November 2026. The role centres on delivering the best possible eyecare and customer experience every day, while contributing to the growth of the store's clinic and retail business.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as an Optometrist in a busy store or clinic
• A genuine passion for creating great customer experiences and solving eyecare and eyewear needs
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business and adapt to change
• Commitment to leading, motivating and developing the team together with the Store Manager
• Ability to manage time and operational demands without compromising the customer experience

What we offer

• Salary of approximately $150,000 - $180,000 depending on experience, plus a 20k sign-on bonus
• Tuesday to Saturday roster
