Part-Time Delivery Agent (Motorcycle or E-Bike)

About the role

New Zealand Post is looking for a part-time Delivery Agent based in Levin. As the face of NZ Post in the community, you will connect with customers while delivering their mail and parcels. You will process and sort mail at the Levin Delivery Branch, then deliver it on your own route by motorcycle or e-bike, rain, hail or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Process and sort mail at the Levin Delivery Branch
• Deliver mail and parcels on your route using a motorcycle or e-bike
• Sort addresses and handle addressing information accurately
• Ensure the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
• Aim for high levels of customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Available to work Monday and Tuesday or Friday and Saturday between 7.00am and 1.17pm; additional shifts are possible
• A valid motorcycle licence is desired
• Reliable transport is required
• Ready for a physically demanding role
• High level of numeracy and literacy
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand must be proven; appointments are subject to a drug test and security check
