Outbound Classifieds Sales Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Outbound Classifieds Sales Consultant to join our Hastings office on a part‑time basis (30 hours per week). You will be responsible for generating new business, revitalising existing client relationships and achieving sales targets within the media and advertising sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities, including targeting competitor accounts and campaign‑driven leads.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, ensuring each interaction adds value for the client.
• Provide tailored, needs‑based advertising solutions while maintaining high standards of ad quality and style.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to stay informed of media trends and solve client challenges.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing ideas and supporting collective targets.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing or a related customer‑facing role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently.
• Team‑oriented mindset, eager to learn and adapt in a fast‑moving industry.
• Tech‑savvy with at least intermediate proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Word.
