Out of School Programme Staff – Multiple Roles Available

About the role

Join sKids to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children in West Auckland. Whether you are a Programme Manager, Assistant Manager, or Assistant, you will help deliver high‑quality out‑of‑school care that supports learning and adventure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and support a variety of activities such as arts & crafts, sports, games, cooking and creative play.
• Supervise children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment.
• Apply positive behaviour guidance to meet the needs of diverse children.
• Build strong relationships with parents, caregivers and school staff.
• For leadership roles, oversee day‑to‑day programme operations from set‑up to pack‑down.
• Guide and support team members to maintain a high‑quality programme.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and caring individuals who enjoy working with children.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Reliable transport to West Auckland sites.
• Availability from 2:30 pm on weekdays (essential).
• Positive, energetic, can‑do attitude.
• Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps or similar.
• Leadership or supervisory experience for Programme Manager and Assistant Programme Manager roles.
• Applicants for manager positions must be 20 years or older (per regulations).
