Organizational Development and Learning Manager

About the role

This senior leadership position reports to the GM People & Culture and is responsible for shaping the organisational culture, leadership capability and learning pathways at Spectrum Group. You will lead an integrated programme that embeds the organisation’s values in everyday practice and supports disabled people through effective workforce development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a broad portfolio covering culture, values in action, psychological safety, ethical practice and safeguarding.
• Design and deliver leadership and management development programmes for all levels, with a focus on frontline services.
• Create clear career and learning pathways for the disability support workforce.
• Develop and implement an organisation‑wide learning strategy aligned to values, safeguarding and operational needs.
• Partner with Māori and Pacific leadership to embed culturally grounded, equitable change.
• Manage and develop the OD and Learning team, ensuring sustainable adoption of change.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading organisational development, learning and culture change initiatives.
• Proven track record of designing practical, evidence‑informed solutions that are accessible to frontline staff.
• Ability to work confidently with senior leaders as well as frontline teams.
• Strong commitment to equity, inclusion and accessibility.
