About the role
Join the Staff Care Kerikeri clinic as an Occupational Health Nurse, delivering high‑quality occupational health services to a diverse range of local businesses and industries across Te Tai Tokerau. This part‑time permanent position offers flexibility, training, and the chance to develop specialist skills in a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct occupational health assessments and provide clear clinical recommendations.
- Perform health monitoring, pre‑employment medicals, vaccinations, biological monitoring, and other occupational health services.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and timely reporting.
- Build strong relationships with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
- Manage schedules, equipment, and patient management systems effectively.
- Support workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Promote services and identify opportunities to support existing and new clients.
- Work independently and collaboratively, adapting to client needs and travel requirements.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate.
- Strong nursing experience, ideally in primary care, community, or workplace health settings.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Proactive, professional, and solution‑focused approach.
- Confidence using clinical systems and digital technology.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety and Privacy requirements.
- Full New Zealand driver licence.
- Occupational health experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
