Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

Habit Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Palmerston North clinic as an Occupational Health Nurse. You will provide high‑quality occupational health assessments, support client wellbeing, and travel across the region to meet patient needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical occupational health assessments and give clear feedback to clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting.
• Manage equipment, scheduling and patient management systems efficiently.
• Build strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Promote Habit Health’s services and identify opportunities to support new and existing customers.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management abilities.
• Professional, proactive and solution‑focused approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (Privacy, Health & Safety, health information).
• Confidence using clinical systems and digital tools.
• Valid NZ driver’s licence.
