Newly Qualified Accountant – Hybrid, Christchurch

About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified or soon‑to‑be qualified accountant to join Profile Group’s finance team in Christchurch Central. The position is hybrid, offering a blend of group accounting and commercial finance responsibilities within a dynamic, industry‑leading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse group financial statements and management reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for commercial units.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) or final year student.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
