Marketing Executive

About the role

The Marketing Executive will join the Auckland Live Marketing & Ticketing team to promote a diverse range of live shows, festivals and experiences across the city centre. This one‑year fixed‑term position offers the chance to design bold, creative campaigns that grow audiences, increase ticket sales and enhance the Auckland Live brand.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, outdoor and print channels.
• Provide marketing support to promoters and presenters for venues and public spaces.
• Create engaging digital content to raise awareness and drive ticket sales.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to maximise brand visibility and campaign impact.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse data and optimise based on insights.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a marketing or similar role.
• Proven ability to deliver integrated campaigns on time and within budget.
• Strong copywriting, coordination and organisational abilities.
• Experience with digital and social media channels and basic content creation.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive, detail‑oriented attitude.
