Marketing Executive

About the role

Join the Marketing, Communications and Growth team to promote Auckland’s live shows, festivals and experiences. You will plan, deliver and optimise integrated campaigns that grow audiences, boost ticket sales and enhance the Auckland Live brand across the city centre.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, outdoor and print channels.
• Provide marketing support to promoters and presenters for Auckland Live venues and public spaces.
• Create engaging content for digital platforms to drive awareness and ticket sales.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to build brand visibility and maximise campaign impact.
• Monitor performance using data and insights, and continuously optimise campaigns.

Required profile

• Motivated and creative marketer with a passion for live events, arts and culture.
• 2–3 years of experience in marketing or a similar role.
• Proven ability to deliver integrated campaigns on time and within budget.
• Strong copywriting, coordination and organisational skills.
• Experience across digital and social channels with some content‑creation capability.
• Collaborative, proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work on multiple projects.
• Passionate about Auckland’s cultural scene and eager to engage diverse communities.
