Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Christchurch Airport is seeking a Marketing Coordinator on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This hands‑on role supports the creation and delivery of campaigns and content across both digital and physical channels, ensuring all output is customer‑focused, well‑coordinated and on brand.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including agencies and suppliers.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, collateral, signage and media bookings.
• Maintain the airport’s digital presence through website updates, social media management and email marketing.
• Assist with event planning and execution.
• Manage projects from brief through delivery and post‑campaign review.
• Oversee processes, budgets and administrative tasks to keep the marketing function running smoothly.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused mindset with strong curiosity about people, places and experiences.
• Approximately 2+ years of marketing experience or transferable experience.
• Excellent written communication skills and confidence creating content for varied audiences.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, positive and collaborative attitude, ready to roll up sleeves.

Required skills

• Experience with Campaign Monitor.
• Familiarity with project‑management tools such as Wrike.
• Knowledge of tag‑management platforms like Tealium (bonus).
