Maintenance Technician – Upper Hutt Site

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Centre of Excellence at the Upper Hutt site. You will support production by performing routine and corrective maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with GMP and legislative standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and document preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment, processes and utilities, responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support contamination investigations, plant shutdowns and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate GMP‑compliant records and write simple investigation reports.
• Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call roster to provide emergency support.

Required profile

• Experience in a maintenance or engineering environment with hands‑on involvement.
• Trade Certificate in a relevant discipline (preferred) or tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Engineering Technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
