Maintenance Supervisor – Workshop & Fabrication

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the mould maintenance, stainless‑steel collar and fabrication activities within our workshop. You will drive performance, ensure safety compliance and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership for mould maintenance, SS collar production and overall workshop fabrication.
• Motivate and develop team members to achieve high performance and “right first time” outcomes.
• Deliver technical support for fabrication and mechanical engineering across the business, assisting workshop, manufacturing, technical services and EPM teams.
• Promote continuous improvement, cost‑effective solutions, waste and rework reduction.
• Ensure all staff adhere to Hynds Health & Safety policies, Golden Rules and workshop safety standards.
• Maintain high quality standards in all work performed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical fabrication or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of engineered solutions and the commercial impact of quality.
• Excellent customer service orientation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance.
• Practical knowledge of workshop health and safety standards.
