Mainframe Trainee – Build Expertise in z/OS & AI Automation

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join its Mainframe Trainee programme. You will work with global experts to learn legacy mainframe technologies and how to integrate AI‑driven automation into enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain IBM z/OS operating system and related subsystems such as CICS, IMS and DB2.
• Manage SMP/E for software updates and routine maintenance.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and resolve operational issues.
• Implement and maintain security controls using RACF and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Collaborate with application teams to guarantee seamless integration and system stability.
