Laboratory Technician / Internal Auditor (Nightshift)

About the role

Alliance Group is seeking an energetic individual to join its Laboratory / Compliance team on the night shift at the Pukeuri plant. The role blends laboratory testing with internal audit responsibilities, supporting quality, food safety and regulatory compliance for premium red‑meat products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and verification activities to ensure compliance with documented systems.
• Support laboratory programmes, including sampling, testing, and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining and improving quality systems and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to MPI, customer and international standards.
• Contribute to data accuracy, reporting and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualification or experience in a food‑related or laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
