Kitchen Designer – Retail Showroom

About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Designer to join the Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield showroom team. You will help customers create functional and stylish kitchen and bathroom spaces by using our WINNER design software and providing expert advice.

Key responsibilities

• Design effective kitchen and bathroom layouts that meet customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed specifications and quotations for each project.
• Maintain regular contact with customers, including scheduling installation dates.
• Provide product recommendations, tips and after‑sales support both in‑store and over the phone.
• Collaborate with builders, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Strong passion for customer service and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills with customers, trade partners and senior management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation.
• Willingness to learn and develop new product knowledge.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WINNER design software.
