Kitchen Designer – Retail Home Improvement

About the role

Join Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield as a Kitchen Designer, helping customers create functional and inspiring kitchen and bathroom spaces. You will work directly with shoppers, translating their ideas into detailed layouts using industry‑specific software.

Key responsibilities

• Design effective kitchen and bathroom layouts that meet customer requirements using WINNER design software.
• Prepare complete specifications and accurate quotations for each project.
• Maintain regular liaison with customers, providing updates on installation dates and progress.
• Deliver product advice and practical tips both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Collaborate with the showroom team, builders, suppliers, and trade customers to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required profile

• Strong passion for customer service and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Creative problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under time‑sensitive pressure.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills with both internal teams and external partners.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in kitchen design and related areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WINNER design software.
