Key Account Manager - Foodservice & Industrial Accounts

About the role

Kraft Heinz is hiring a permanent Key Account Manager for its New Zealand Sales team, based in Newmarket. The role covers foodservice and industrial accounts and offers a flexible arrangement of three days in the office and two days remote. The company is described as one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, with eight brands and sales of around $25 billion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop account-specific business plans and measure performance against set standards.
• Sell to targeted new accounts and identify and lock them in.
• Negotiate and lock agreements in line with company policies and budget.
• Communicate standards and customer commitments to the field and follow up on implementation.
• Work with key accounts and internal units to develop tailored product solutions.
• Monitor performance and compliance, taking corrective action where appropriate.
• Perform all tasks in line with Kraft Heinz's food safety, environmental, health and safety, ethical and human resources policies and goals.

Required profile

• Strong background in FMCG.
• Experience working with large retailers.
• Ideal candidate is tertiary qualified with a degree in Sales, Marketing or Business.
• Positivity, resilience, problem-solving, proactivity and initiative within the team.
