About the role
We are creating a new Key Account Manager position within a family‑owned FMCG business that is scaling rapidly across New Zealand. You will be responsible for an $18 million portfolio covering Foodstuffs, Woolworths and other major retail channels, driving growth in both non‑food grocery and general merchandise categories.
Key responsibilities
- Own and grow a circa $18 m NZ portfolio across key retail partners.
- Partner with product and brand teams across ANZ on new product development, functionality and brand initiatives.
- Analyse performance data, pricing and modelling to turn insights into actionable plans.
- Develop and execute customer planning and category review processes.
- Operate in a lean, high‑ownership environment with hands‑on involvement in day‑to‑day details.
Required profile
- Proven experience in FMCG or grocery account management, or a strong step‑up KAE with full account ownership.
- Commercially sharp, confident in managing numbers, performance metrics and customer planning.
- Ability to translate insights into actions across pricing, modelling and category reviews.
- Modern grocery mindset – proactive, energetic and able to build momentum.
- Comfortable working with fewer layers and limited resources compared with larger FMCG organisations.
