Junior Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Management Accountant to join our Finance Team in Napier. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in accounts receivable, customer account management and exposure to month‑end processes within a supportive, growing organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Process debtor management and allocate payments accurately.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve queries.
• Communicate professionally with customers about outstanding balances.
• Assist with general account reconciliations and support month‑end activities.
• Maintain accurate financial and customer records.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the Finance Team as skills develop.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Confident verbal communication, especially over the phone.
• Positive, proactive attitude with curiosity about business operations.
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Interest in building a career in accounting or finance (formal experience not essential).

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
