IT Support Lead – Media & Production Technology

About the role

The IT Support Lead will manage, support and continuously improve Warner Bros. Discovery's technology environment in New Zealand. Acting as the primary technology resource, you will provide end‑user support, oversee infrastructure and storage, and ensure systems are secure, reliable and aligned with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver responsive IT support to all users, troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and application issues.
• Manage user onboarding, off‑boarding and access rights, and maintain end‑user devices.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Windows and macOS environments, as well as server and virtualised infrastructure.
• Maintain networking equipment, including switches, wireless networks and internet connectivity.
• Coordinate software deployments, upgrades and patch management while monitoring system performance.
• Oversee shared storage platforms, backup solutions and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Lead hardware refresh and lifecycle planning activities.
• Support production and post‑production technology, including Avid NEXIS editing environments, and liaise with specialist vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑user support and service delivery within a corporate or media environment.
• Strong background in infrastructure administration, including servers, virtualization and networking.
• Experience managing storage, backup and business continuity solutions.
• Familiarity with production and post‑production technology workflows.
