IT Support Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our Support Services team in Auckland. You will provide technical assistance to colleagues across multiple business lines, ensuring workstations, applications and related equipment operate smoothly and meet agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person, phone, chat and virtual support to staff.
• Set up, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops and peripheral devices.
• Log and resolve incidents, escalating when necessary and following SOPs.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware assets and assist with moves and re‑configurations.
• Support proactive technical initiatives and collaborate with other IT teams.
• Participate in training to stay current on Marsh applications and systems.
• Occasionally work weekends or after‑hours for critical events or emergencies.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a customer‑focused IT support role.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Windows operating systems.
• macOS operating system.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, BitLocker).
• Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• VPN, ZScaler, Citrix, VDI and wireless networking.
• Mobile Device Management for iOS devices.
