About the role
Securecom is looking for an IOC Engineer to join its Integrated Operations Centre in Ellerslie. You will be the first line of technical support, handling incidents around the clock and ensuring customers receive fast, reliable service.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to a high volume of support calls and service tickets via phone, remote tools and the ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve issues on Windows, macOS and basic Linux environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation, time‑tracking and update knowledge‑base articles.
- Assist occasionally with procurement and quoting activities.
- Work within a 24/7 shift roster, including night‑shift coverage.
Required profile
- Customer‑first mindset with strong communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver first‑call resolutions.
- Curiosity, reliability and a willingness to learn new technologies.

- Networking fundamentals
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Azure Active Directory
- Endpoint security tools
- Familiarity with ConnectWise and remote support platforms
