Inventory Coordinator – Retail Stock Management

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga. Reporting to the Merchandise & Marketing Manager, you will ensure that stock levels, pricing and data are accurate so customers always find the right products at the right price.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date stock and price files and perform daily data integrity checks.
• Process inbound goods updates and manage compliance documentation.
• Produce and review regular inventory and sales reports.
• Support core range maintenance and coordinate overseas purchasing.
• Assist with stock checks, gap reports, ticketing and analysis.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, providing advice on product, pricing and stock matters.
• Contribute to shrinkage reduction and security processes.
• Support stores during peak periods and uphold health, safety and wellbeing standards.

• Strong attention to detail with high data accuracy.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Infor.
• Understanding of inventory management and stock file maintenance.
• Confidence working with reports and system‑based data.
• Knowledge of retail pricing and merchandising principles.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation (Fair Trading Act, Consumer Guarantees Act).
