Internship Programme – New Zealand

About the role

Aurecon is offering a paid summer internship programme across New Zealand for students in engineering, environmental, science, surveying, metallurgy and advisory disciplines. Interns will join multidisciplinary teams, work on real projects and gain exposure to the company’s inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers and consultants on client projects.
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting for engineering and environmental studies.
• Participate in design reviews, site surveys and technical documentation.
• Contribute ideas in the internal Innovation Challenge.
• Attend onboarding, training and networking events organized for interns.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university degree related to engineering, environmental science, earth sciences, surveying, metallurgy or advisory fields.
• Strong academic performance and a passion for sustainable, livable solutions.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in diverse, inclusive teams.
• Availability for the university summer break period.
